Summer Charters

Warm Water, Great Availability

Summer in Miami is hot, vibrant, and full of energy. Water temperatures hover around 85 degrees, making it the ideal season for jumping in. Whether your plan is a sandbar day with friends, a snorkeling trip to the reefs near Key Biscayne, or a sunset cruise under golden skies, our fleet is ready.

Summer is also one of the best times for availability. With peak season behind, you have a wider selection of vessels and more flexible scheduling. Morning and early afternoon charters are the sweet spot — the seas are calm, the sun is out, and afternoon thunderstorms typically roll through after 3 PM.

Families, tourists, and groups all find summer to be an excellent time for a private charter. Water toys like Seabobs, jet skis, and floating pools make it easy to turn your charter into a full water sports experience.

Summer Boating Tips

1

Book Morning Departures

Summer thunderstorms are common after 3 PM. Morning and early afternoon charters get the best weather — calm seas, clear skies, and warm water.

2

Hydrate and Protect

Miami summer sun is intense. Bring plenty of water, reef-safe sunscreen, hats, and UV-protective clothing. Heat exhaustion can sneak up on you on the water.

3

Plan for 4th of July Early

Independence Day is one of the most popular boating days in Miami. Fireworks cruises and holiday charters book up weeks in advance. Reserve early to secure your vessel.

4

Try a Sunset Charter

Summer sunsets in Miami are spectacular. A 3-4 hour evening charter starting around 5 PM gives you golden hour on the water and avoids the midday heat.

5

Bring Swimwear and a Change of Clothes

You will almost certainly want to jump in. Bring towels, swimwear, and a dry change of clothes for the ride back.

6

Request Water Toys

If water activities are important to your group, ask about vessels with included water toys — the Galeon 68 and Azimut 103 come loaded.
